When paired with an InnoSwitch3-MX isolated switcher IC, an InnoMux controller IC dramatically simplifies the power supply design for monitors and TVs by replacing the ACDC and DCDC converters with a single-stage flyback topology. This enables very high system efficiency on a small PCB footprint.
The LED backlight control offers excellent minimum threshold regulation as well as analog and several PWM dimming options. The sequenced PWM dimming option further improves visual performance and stabilizes power demand. Extensive protection features are provided.
